My career began in 2008 after graduating from Sheridan College's Animal Care program. I have always had a love of animals growing up whether it was caring for hamsters, trying to hold chipmunks, rescuing injured birds or adopting my first Ball Python. I have a special interest in reptiles that has evolved into a new aquarium hobby, and learning Aquascaping for my aquariums.
I have worked in vet clinics, doggy daycares and research, but have found my passion in the day-to-day running of veterinary hospitals. I enjoy the connections with owners and their fur babies and really getting to know the people in our community. There is an amazing passion from the team here at Ajax Animal Hospital and the staff and Doctors are always going above and beyond for their patients - this is what drew me to work here. When you love what you do you never work a day in your life.
When I am not at work I am outdoors with my family taking the cats and dog for a walk or reading one of a million books I started and did not finish! Fast Facts: I have a special interest in reptiles that has evolved into a new aquarium hobby, and learning Aquascaping for my aquariums.
