Dr. Lindsay Patterson joined the AAH veterinary team in September of 2018. Lindsay grew up in King City, Ontario where she was introduced to veterinary work during high school. She earned her B.Sc. in Animal Biology from University of Guelph with a goal to pursue veterinary medicine. Upon graduation from her undergraduate program, Lindsay went on to study in the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca. After working as an RVT for some time, she decided to go back to school to become a veterinarian.

Lindsay’s educational journey has allowed her to travel to South Africa to complete a 3-week externship as a Vet Tech Student where she participated in community outreach programs and work with local wildlife. She also lived in the Caribbean on St. Kitts during her pre-clinical time at Ross University. She enjoyed the experience of completing her clinical year at Michigan State University and she graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.

Soft Tissue Surgery and Dentistry, Pain control and rehabilitation interest Lindsay. She stresses the important role of Preventive care and because of her love of Pediatric Medicine, she enjoys helping puppy and kitten clients get off to a good start.

Lindsay and her partner Jay make their home in Courtice with their Lab/Husky mix Halo, Caribbean rescue cat, Nike and their newest addition Triscuit the nearly-tripawd kitty. In their spare time, they enjoy camping, hiking and hitting the winter slopes to ski or snowboard. Lindsay’s other not so secret pastime is playing Xbox.
