Karen B.

Karen attended Ridgetown College of Agriculture and Technology in Ridgetown, Ontario where she received her diploma in Veterinary Technology. She achieved RVT registration status shortly after graduating in 1998. She began working at the Ajax Animal Hospital after relocating to the area in August of 2005. In the over 10 years she has been a member of the AAH team we know our clients see her as a very trusted and caring presence!

Karen enjoys continued education and looks forward to attending conferences and lectures to keep her skills current and learn new techniques each year. Charlie is a lovely short haired grey cat enjoys playing with his Black & White little brother Squeak. These boys were very lucky to be rescued by Karen and her family during the summers of 2020 & 2021. You might also notice that Karen has a special spot in her heart for the "smooshy nosed" dogs. She has enjoyed the addition of Laser therapy to our practice and is a certified Laser Therapy Tech.

She treasures the time she spends with her husband and their friends and family when she is not at our hospital. Karen is also a busy mother of two great kids! Karen spends her rare moments of free time shopping and watching television. She enjoys being a food connoisseur, and plans to explore travel in the future.
